The International BiM Course is held on 3 consecutive days and is practice-based. You’ll gain insight into the BiM method, experience several BiM activities, and learn how to work with the activities. We will practice various BIM activities, learn to use the work plans, and observe and analyze video material. You will therefore gain a strong foundation for applying and adapting the BiM method in your work with participants.
The study load is 3 x 6 hours each day. After completing the course, you will be able to practice the BiM activities with your participants at work.
The International BiM Course is for professionals working with people with profound multiple disabilities or in elderly (geriatric) care. Parents of a child with a (profound multiple) disability can also follow this course. No specific prior training is required to take the International BIM course, but we do consider it important that you have an affinity with the target group.

You get the BiM book with background information and the theoretical foundation of the BiM method, a schema for the initial situation, observation, and a work plan for goal-oriented BIMming, BiM activity calendars 1 + 2, a USB stick with the BiM music, 5 different BiM materials, a BiM bag, and the digital BiM certificate. We also provide coffee/tea/water and a snack, and you’ll be served a tasty lunch. It is also possible to follow the International BiM Course at your workplace.
